and a short introduction about biodegradable plastics.

Abstract: BioBags and Biofilms are outstanding environmental solutions
to paper and polyethylene bags. They have been developed to biodegradable
and compost when disposed of. The MaxAir system of ventilated bins
and BioBags (made from MaterBi) is the world leading system for
separate collection of household food waste for recycling into compost
thus saving GHG (greenhouse gas) production. It is shown from statistics
that the every family can save an average of 100 kg of GHG per year
by getting food waste out of landfill.
