In support of the HKSAR Government's recent initiative on promoting green products, the HKGPC Task Force Members have decided to purchasing more green products starting from printing paper and Hong Kong Green Label will become a compulsory procurement criteria on printing paper.
In this year June, Green Council Officials has processed a public consultation on the HKGLS product criteria GL-005-008. After consolidating comments of some paper suppliers, the product criteria GL-005-008 has been finalized and endorsed by HKGLS Advisory Committee. We believe the product criteria are not only compatible to other ecolabelling programme, but also feasible and become popular in Hong Kong in the near future.
On behalf of HKGPC Task Force members, we are writing to invite your company to share how many paper brands and paper products (specifically A4-sized, A3-sized, paper for Letterhead and Business Card) meet the GL-005-008 requirements.
