Dr. Hon Priscilla Leung, Chairlady of Green Council has joined the International Coastal Cleanup Day 2010 (25th Sept 2010 at Rocky Bay Beach)
  
Volunteers were cleaning the beach and marking data on the data sheet.

「香港綠色企業大獎2010」由環保促進會舉辦，目的是鼓勵工商業在營運及管理中納入環境考慮，並藉此表揚關懷及支持環保之企業。「香港綠色企業大獎2010」是企業一個黃金機會，彰顯其對社會的責任及打造香港成為綠色城市上作出之貢獻。

「香港綠色企業大獎2010」設有「明智環保採購獎」及「環保辦公室管理獎」。「明智環保採購獎」提倡本港環保採購風氣，並表揚於環保採購表現出色的企業；「環保辦公室管理獎」則讚揚企業在辦公室環保管理方面的卓越成就。

10th Anniversary of Green Council

Since 2000, the Green Council has advocated, offered and fully supported initiatives promoting the production and provision of environmentally preferable products and services, as well as complementary green labels, green purchasing strategies and practices in all societal sectors. 

Green Council 10th Anniversary Celebration with be held in December 2010 in conjunction with the Hong Kong Green Awards 2010 Presentation Ceremony.

Eco-Expo Asia 2010

Green Council is the supporting organization of the “5th Eco Expo Asia Trade Fair”, which will be held on 3-6 November 2010 at the AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE). A pavilion will be set at Booth No. 3C14 with over 15 members from different cores including Hong Kong Green Label Scheme (HKGLS), Hong Kong Green Purchasing Charter (HKGPC) and our online environmental preferable products platform (Cyber Green Centre) joining hands to deliver the Green messages.
